On December 7th UFC 107 is going to take place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. UFC is the Ultimate Fighting Championship and it is getting more and more popular every day. Quinton Rampage Jackson, a UFC fighter, was supposed to be fighting at this event, however he recently decided to retire. He is from Memphis and would have been fighting at his home town. It was very dissappointing to me, because he talked so much stuff about his opponent Rashad Evans and he is not even going to back up his words. The main event will be BJ Penn verses Diego Sanchez for the lightweight title. It will be a huge fight and a good one at that. I am not really positive if I am going to attend the event, because tickets are extremely expensive. My uncle is searching around if we can get any good ticket deals, and if we do I am sure this will an awesome experience. If I do not go, I will without a doubt watch the fights on pay per view.

  1. dude thats awesome i thought they cancelled the fight in memphis. It might be better just to not go even thought i really want to. You will be able to see better on tv and if the tickets are that expensive, i might just go in with a few buddies and pay the $50 for the PPV version. I want to see a fight live because the atmosphere would be so cool, but im not sure that i can afford it.

  2. I have to agree about its popularity rising. I even like to watch these fights. It is kind of intriguing. I used to think that they were silly and dumb. I couldn't understand why people wanted to literally fight, but after I actually sat down, I realized they are fun to watch. Oh, and just a tip, big sellers-not random individuals- will sell tickets online through eBay. It is way cheaper and secure. (Just some advice)

  3. UFC is going to be the number 1 sport in the world within the decade. Rampage is such a dissapointment. This season of the ultimate fighter he has been doing an awful job and is not coach material. Now that he is gone the UFC has lost a valuable fighter.
