In Freshmen Seminar we are reading the book "Charles Darwin: His Life and Times." I think that the book is a somewhat easy read and not near as boring as I thought it would have been. W e are going through the book at a good pace, about fifty pages a week. Its not at all too much to read for a week span. We are given quizzes every week to make sure we are doing the reading, but the quizzes are really easy. I like the class in general too. Grubaugh seems like quite a professor and I am glad I was able to be in one of his classes this semester.

  1. The book is not bad as far as "readability," but the content is very boring and dry. I like Dr. Grubaugh too. He is very entertaining, and he always teaches me something I did not know. I think the whole class really enjoys him (and not the book).
